Thank you to the wonderful folks at Audivita Studios and my magnificent narrator, voice actor Ryan Haugen, who helped bring this story alive! The Audivita team was positive, transparent, and utterly professional, and they were a pleasure to work with from start to finish.

I’ve had a lot of people ask why I chose not to record the audiobook myself.  Answer: When I listen to fiction, I personally prefer voice actors to narration. A story that is simply “read” can feel canned, and listeners can lose interest regardless of how great a story it is. One performed by a talented artist like Ryan, however, can draw an audience into the heart of a book, scene, or dialogue – that is the experience that I, as the author, wanted to share with readers, and I could not be happier with the Audavita team’s work.

In short,  I believe that listening to a story is a very different encounter than reading one on the page, and I’m glad Midgard’s audience now has the opportunity to do both!
